20/04/2016: Grain Craft director elected IAOM treasurer

Jeff Hole, director of milling at Grain Craft in Mission Woods, Kansas, was unanimously elected 2016-2017 treasurer of the International Association of Operative Millers (IAOM) at the Association’s 120th Annual Conference & Expo on April 7, in Columbus, Ohio, USA.

As treasurer, Mr Hole will be responsible for overseeing preparations for the Association’s 2017 and 2018 conferences in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Atlanta, Georgia, respectively. He is also in line to serve as the Association’s president from 2018-2019. Mr Hole has been an active member of IAOM since 1994.

While serving as IAOM treasurer, he will also be vice president of the International Milling Education Foundation (IMEF), a philanthropic partner of IAOM that funds a variety of educational programs related to the grain milling industry. Mr Hole has served as the Central District Chairperson and on the IAOM board of directors from 2006-2012, representing the Central District. He has been on the Employee Relations Committee since 2011.

Mr Hole is a native of Wichita, Kansas. He earned a bachelor’s degree in milling science and a master’s degree in agribusiness at Kansas State University, in Manhattan, Kansas. Following graduation in 1994, he joined Cereal Food Processors, Inc, and has held positions of head miller, milling superintendent, plant manager, and director of plant administration while working at the company’s facilities in Portland, Oregon, Salt Lake City, Utah, Kansas City, Kansas, and Mission Woods, Kansas.

In 1997, Mr Hole served as milling superintendent at Grain Millers, Inc in St Ansgar, Iowa for one year. Since the acquisition and formation of Grain Craft in 2014, he has held the position of director of milling.
