17/04/2015: They aren't missing a TriQ: BoMill breaks into North American market

http://www.bomill.com/products/line-of-products/BoMill AB have taken their first commercial orders for their patented grain sorting technique, TriQ, from the North American market. CIGI (Canadian International Grain Institute) is one of the customers.

TriQ technology can be used to sort durum wheat, soft wheat and malting barley by different criteria. It can remove Fusarium-infected kernels, or sort according to protein content or vitreousness, with a speed of 24,000 kernels per second. This makes the TriQ very profitable for businesses in the grain handling and milling sectors.

Karin Wehlin, CEO, says “We see this as a major breakthrough into the North American market. Our patented technique, sorting each individual kernel by looking at its chemical structure, shows an advantage of the existing solutions available on the market today.”

The other customers have chosen to remain anonymous.

BoMill AB possess great expertise and experience in the quality sorting of wheat, durum wheat and malting barley using single kernel sorting technology. Based in the University town of Lund, Sweden, the company sell quality sorting technology and know-how throughout Europe, North America and Australia, using their own sales organisation or distributors.
