06/12/13: Event: Pneumatic conveying of bulk solids conference

Pneumatic conveying is one of the most commonly used means of transporting bulk solids. Applications range from large scale ship bulk cargo unloaders through to small in-plant systems.

The Wolfson Centre boasts a wealth of experience in different pneumatic conveying systems and the types of problems that can arise as a result of mismatching materials, feeders, pipe designs, or air movers to one another.

What will the course involve?
The presenters have pooled their vast knowledge and experience in dealing with these problems to deliver this popular course twice a year, which will cover operational and design issues associated with such systems.

Day 3 of the course an optional practical session in the the Wolfson Centre laboratory.

The Pneumatic conveying of bulk solids conference takes place from 28 - 30 January 2014 at the Wolfson Centre for Bulk Solids Handling Technology (part of the University of Greenwich ) Kent, UK.
