NETZSCH Group reveals real innovation and promising alliances

The NETZSCH Group, grinding and fine grinding specialists, announced a solid mid-year order situation, adding that they are looking optimistically to the future. A lot of new developments and innovative potimisations of current systems are considered to be the main reasons for this self-confidence. Moreover, according to experts, the future-orientated cooperation of NETZSCH Grinding and Dispersing with the British Malvern Instruments Ltd., could become a real sales engine.

One of the most comprehensive optimisations of NETZSCH-CONDUX was the complete conceptual redesign of the Condux® impact mill.

A lot of specially designed systems, already equipped with the essential characteristics of the new mill concept have been in operation most successfully before they gave rise to start the development of Condux®

On the other hand, the redesigned version holds all the proven construction features of prior machine generations, while on the other hand the engineers created an extremely flexible toolbox system around them. This concept brings the classical design specifications in an appropriate context with the demands of the operator.

Mainly thanks to the new toolbox system, Condux® offers significantly more flexibility in product processing, compared to conventional universal rotor impact mills. NETZSCH-CONDUX refrains from the integration of unused features from the start, supplying only what the customer needs for his process.

A further portfolio highlight is the recently completed and most innovative Economic Dispersioniser Omega®. The name stands for a continuously working system that uses a newly designed dispersing unit, also promising to set new standards regarding wear, energy and maintenance effort as well as heat emission.

An optimum combination of the factors turbulence, cavation and shearing forces plays a vital role in this process. According to statement of the machine builder, Omega® belongs to the most cost effective of this kind on the market. NETZSCH Feinmahltechnik is going to offer three different performance classes between 30 l/h and 2,000 l/h. The parameters of the Omega® did not only convince the stand visitors during Powtech 2013, but moreover the jury of the Innovation Award, which was awarded for the sixth time in the fair context. The dispersing unit could prevail against all other, likewise highly interesting innovations in the category of apparatus building and process components.

The decision of NETZSCH Grinding and Dispersing to form a strategic alliance with the English material characterisation specialists of Malvern Instruments Ltd attracted international attention. The combination of the wide machine program and the process technology know-how of NETZSCH with the outstanding experience of Malvern Ltd. in the field of particle properties characterisation was generally considered appropriate and favourably received.

The alliance creates a worldwide service network with extraordinary possibilities of laboratory analysis and consulting, as well as a large portfolio of innovative systems, available from now on to every customer.
