06/11/12: Nigeria hit by rice blast; aflatoxin in the US; Cargill's CFO resigns

Now the knock on effects are evident in the crops: Illinois, one of the worst hit drought areas, has reported high levels of aflatoxin.   • Cargill's chief financial officer, Sergio Rial will resign his post with the company effective at the end of November in order to return to his native Brazil for personal reasons.
