Sea lettuce to be used in animal feeds

Olmix feed ingredient specialist, based in Brehan in France is launching a program in conjunction with supporting organisation Oseo to utilise fresh Ulva (sea lettuce) for use in animal feeds and plant nutrition.
The company established in 1995 manufactures additives for animal feeds, but they now want to create a new product line from the green algae "fresh, not fermented," said Hervé Balusson, founding president of the company. Read more ...
